Stenotrader.com also provides Extended Warranty and Maintenance Programs besides the initial one year warranty that comes with the writer. It is available on all makes and models sold at an additional cost of $195 per year. Writers that operate in the field today that need refurbishing are also eligible for these Extended Warranty and Maintenance Programs and will be based on a inspection of the writer's condition. Congratulations on the purchase of your STENTURA 8000 LX Writer.

StenoTrader, Inc. warrants this Writer to be free from defects in material and workmanship under normal use and service, and will within one year from the date of original purchase, repair or replace any defective parts without charge to the original purchaser thereof, provided arrangements are made in advance to return the machine to StenoTrader, Inc., (StenoTrader, Inc. may at its discretion direct the customer to take their machine to an Authorized Service Provider in their area), and our inspection shows it to be thus defective.  Shipping cost will be at the customer's expense.

If no defect is found, StenoTrader, Inc. reserves the right to assess a charge for the cost of our inspection and examination.

StenoTrader, Inc. accepts no other obligation or liability in connection with your STENTURA 8000 LX.  All consequential or incidental damages are excluded.

This Warranty does not include user replaceable ink cartridge, charger, battery, realtime cable, paper tray, pads or needed repairs arising out of damage or abuse or failure to properly maintain this machine as required by the User's Guide accompanying it.

This Warranty applies only to the original purchaser. It does not include oiling or adjusting required by normal use nor does it include customization to the writer as requested by the user.

Any adjustment, replacement of any part, or other work on this machine undertaken by any person other than a technician certified by StenoTrader, Inc., or by this company will void this Warranty.

All the writers sold by Stenotrader.com go through extensive cleaning and quality inspection. The machines are then fully refurbished by FACTORY CERTIFIED TECHNICIAN WITH OVER 20 YEARS OF STENOGRAPHY TECH EXPERIENCE.

The Refurbishment procedure

Dismantle
Our FACTORY CERTIFIED TECHNICIANS takes the writer apart for a complete inspection and cleaning. All parts that need to be changed are replaced before proceeding to the next step.

Chemical Process
Re-usable parts then go through a chemical wash process to ensure top operating condition.

Oiling and Lubrication
All of the writer's moving parts are then re-lubricated and oiled to ensure smooth and precise part movements.

Tune-up
The writer's key tension, key level, and print consistency are all adjusted for optimal operation.

Computerized Diagnostic Testing
The last step before putting the writer back together includes computerized testing of all electrical components of the machine - such as real time capabilities. The writer is the reassembled and is ready to work for you!

Stenotrader.com accepts most major credit cards VISA, MASTER CARD and DISCOVER. Stenotrader.com has chosen UPS as its official carrier for it's reliability, diversified scheduling and panctuality and uses its services. This includes all packaging materials, insurance, handling, shipment notification by email and phone and door to door service. Upon special request we can arrange delivery on NEXT DAY or SATURDAY. If you wish to pay by check we will gladly accept Cashier Check, Money Order or Personal Check. All items sold and paid by Personal Checks will be shipped upon bank clearance.
